Retractable in Seconds
The Shaderunner® has a simple design, using Ronstan marine grade pulleys it concertinas in and out on a series of stainless steel wires. Using a simple control cord attached to the front of the canopy, the shade is pulled in or out, and tied off around a horn cleat.

Vistaweave 95 Sun Protection MeshThe chosen fabric for the Shaderunner® is Vistaweave Sun Protection Mesh. Vistaweave 95 is a versatile woven mesh designed for blinds, awnings and general outdoor applications, including marine applications. The unique weave combines a functional solution for solar protection with a stylish textured appearance. Designed for Australian conditions, Vistaweave was the first mesh on the local market and has been sold in Australia for over 40 years.

Outlook Polyester Mesh
Another fabric option for the Shaderunner® is Outlook Polyester Mesh.
This fabric is similar to shadecloth, with up to 95% UV protection. Chosen for its strength and durability, this mesh fabric is still quite aesthetically pleasing, both to the eye and to touch. This makes it perfect for residential applications, where the look and feel of your shade is important. But don't let its subtle exterior fool you, this fabric is built tough with a high tear resistance, and impeedance to fading and mold build up. This makes it perfect for commercial settings also.
Waterproof Fabrics
If you are after full rain protection, as well as sun protection, then a Waterproof PVC fabric is a great option. In fact by using our chosen PVC fabric, you can create an affordable retractable fabric roof, with the Shaderunner®.
The other fabric available. It is somewhat water resistant and is great for internal applications also.
